Data Center Facility
ServerMili operates a purpose-built, Tier-3 certified data center engineered for maximum availability, physical security, and energy efficiency. Our facility is the foundation that every service we offer — from colocation to cloud — is built upon.
Tier-3 Certified Infrastructure
Tier-3 classification means concurrent maintainability — every component in our facility can be serviced, upgraded, or replaced without taking the data center offline. That translates directly to a contractual 99.982% uptime SLA for every customer.
Tier-3 Concurrently Maintainable
All power, cooling, and network paths are N+1 redundant. Maintenance operations can be carried out on any single component at any time without interrupting any active customer workload.
Purpose-Built Facility
Designed from the ground up as a data center — not a converted warehouse or office building. Raised floors, dedicated mechanical rooms, and fiber-diverse entry points are baked into the architecture.
Energy Efficiency (PUE)
Our facility maintains a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) ratio of 1.35 or below, significantly better than the industry average of 1.58, reducing operational costs and environmental impact for all tenants.
Raised Floor Space
Extensive raised-floor computer room space accommodating hundreds of racks across multiple fire-suppressed, climate-controlled halls. High-density zones support power densities up to 20 kW per cabinet.
24/7 On-Site Operations
Dedicated data center operations staff are present on-site around the clock to respond to alarms, perform remote hands, escort visitors, and manage physical infrastructure in real time.
99.982% Uptime SLA
Our Tier-3 design targets no more than 1.6 hours of downtime per year across all facility systems. This is backed by a contractual SLA with service credits applicable to affected colocation customers.
N+1 Redundant Power at Every Level
From the utility entrance to the rack PDU, every power component in our facility operates with redundancy so that no single failure can interrupt your equipment.
Dual Utility Feeds
Two independent utility power feeds enter the facility from separate substations on separate physical paths, eliminating the grid as a single point of failure at the building level.
UPS Systems (N+1)
N+1 redundant Uninterruptible Power Supply modules with sealed VRLA battery strings provide instantaneous bridging power during generator transfer, maintaining clean, conditioned power to all racks with zero interruption.
Diesel Generators
Multiple paralleled diesel generators automatically transfer within 10 seconds of a utility outage. On-site fuel storage capacity supports a minimum of 48 hours of full-load runtime, with contracted fuel delivery for extended outages.
Dual PDUs per Rack
Every cabinet includes two power distribution units (PDUs) fed from independent UPS branches. Dual-PSU servers can load-balance across both feeds, tolerating a complete failure of either circuit without downtime.
Power Monitoring
Per-outlet intelligent PDUs provide real-time current, voltage, and power factor readings per rack. Automated alerts notify operations staff if any circuit approaches its rated threshold, preventing trips before they happen.
Regular Load Testing
Generators and UPS systems undergo scheduled load bank testing and preventive maintenance on a quarterly basis. All test results and maintenance records are retained and available to colocation customers on request.
Precision Cooling for High-Density Hardware
Maintaining a stable thermal environment is as critical to hardware longevity as power quality. Our precision cooling architecture keeps every rack at optimal temperature regardless of load.
Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH)
N+1 redundant precision CRAH units maintain consistent supply air temperature between 18–21°C (64–70°F) and relative humidity between 40–60%. Units communicate over a shared BMS for coordinated load balancing.
Hot/Cold Aisle Containment
Structured hot aisle and cold aisle containment with blanking panels and physical containment barriers prevent hot exhaust air from mixing with cold supply air, dramatically reducing cooling energy consumption and eliminating hot spots at high-density rows.
Humidity Control
Integrated humidification and dehumidification systems maintain relative humidity within ASHRAE recommended A1 class parameters. This prevents electrostatic discharge and corrosion — the two leading humidity-related causes of hardware failure.
Chilled Water Plant
A central chilled water plant with N+1 water-cooled chillers and redundant cooling towers provides the primary heat rejection medium. The plant is designed for concurrent maintainability with full N+1 redundancy at every major component.
High-Density Cooling Zones
Dedicated in-row and rear-door heat exchanger solutions are deployed in high-density zones to support per-rack power densities up to 20 kW. These zones are available for GPU servers, blade chassis, and other high-thermal-output equipment.
24/7 Environmental Monitoring
Granular temperature and humidity sensors at the rack level, row level, and room level feed continuous data to our building management system. Automated alerts escalate immediately to on-site staff for any deviation outside defined thresholds.
Multi-Layer Physical Security
Physical security is built in layers — from the facility perimeter to the individual cabinet lock — with every layer independently verified and logged.
Biometric Access
Fingerprint and hand-geometry biometric readers control access to all critical areas. Biometric credentials are unique to each authorized individual and cannot be shared, borrowed, or duplicated.
CCTV Surveillance
High-definition IP cameras with infrared night-vision coverage monitor every entrance, corridor, and raised-floor zone. Footage is recorded and retained for 90 days on dedicated network video recorders.
Man-Trap Entry Vestibule
A dual-door man-trap (security airlock) at the main entrance prevents tailgating by ensuring that only one door can open at a time after successful credential verification. Both biometric and key-card are required in sequence.
24/7 Security Guards
Trained security officers are stationed on-site around the clock. All visitors are escorted at all times and must sign in with valid photo ID. Unescorted access to the computer room floor is never permitted.
Access Logging
Every access event — successful and failed — is logged with a timestamp, credential identifier, and door ID. Access logs are tamper-evident and retained for a minimum of 12 months for compliance and audit purposes.
Cabinet-Level Locking
Individual cabinets are secured with electronic locks accessible only to authorized colocation customers. Customers control their own cabinet access roster via our management portal without requiring data center staff intervention.
Perimeter Security
Physical perimeter fencing and hardened vehicle barriers surround the facility. A secured loading dock with dedicated staging area ensures that hardware deliveries never enter the live data hall unescorted or unverified.
Fire Suppression
VESDA very-early smoke detection combined with FM-200 clean-agent suppression and a pre-action dry-pipe sprinkler system protects hardware from fire and water damage. Suppression systems are tested and certified annually.
Carrier-Neutral Connectivity Hub
Our facility operates as a carrier-neutral colocation environment, giving tenants direct access to multiple network providers without routing traffic through a single incumbent carrier.
Carrier-Neutral Meet-Me Room
A dedicated meet-me room (MMR) provides a neutral termination point for cross-connects to any carrier present in the facility. Customers can order cross-connects to multiple providers independently of ServerMili's own transit services.
Diverse Fiber Entry Points
Fiber from multiple carriers enters the building at physically diverse conduit paths through separate vaults. This eliminates the risk of a single civil works incident (e.g. a cut fiber) taking down all carrier connectivity simultaneously.
Cross-Connect Services
Single-mode fiber, multimode fiber, and copper cross-connect circuits are available to any tenant within the facility. Cross-connects can be provisioned within one business day and are installed and tested by our in-house cabling team.
10 Gbps+ Backbone
Our internal core network runs on 10/40/100 GbE switching fabric with fully redundant spine-leaf architecture. All customer-facing ports are over-subscribed at no more than 3:1, ensuring predictable throughput during peak traffic events.
Cloud On-Ramps
Direct private connectivity to major hyperscale cloud providers is available via our facility's exchange relationships, enabling hybrid cloud architectures with consistent, low-latency private connectivity to public cloud infrastructure.
Integrated DDoS Mitigation
All IP prefixes routed through our network benefit from upstream DDoS scrubbing infrastructure that automatically detects and diverts attack traffic to mitigation clusters before it reaches customer equipment in the data hall.
Meeting the Highest Industry Standards
Our facility and operational processes are independently audited and certified to satisfy the compliance frameworks demanded by enterprise, financial, and healthcare customers.
